Kelly Dodd was shown undergoing a tightening vaginal rejuvenation procedure during Monday’s episode of The Real Housewives Of Orange County.
And now the 43-year-old says the procedure has ‘changed my life’, in an interview with Bravo.
She went on to say that her ‘husband likes it — it’s good’ before explaining why she felt she needed it in the first place.
Rejuvenation procedure: Kelly Dodd invited Vicki Gunvalson as she underwent a vaginal rejuvenation procedure during Monday’s episode of The Real Housewives of Orange County
She said: ‘As you get older — in your forties — and if you’ve had a baby, sometimes you get stressed… incontinence.
‘And so if you jump rope or you cough, you might leak a little bit. I know it sounds gross, but a lot of women have it.’
She invited the reality show’s cameras to follow her into the medical room while she had the highly-personal procedure.
‘I’m here to get my snatch tightened,’ Kelly joked as she arrived at the medical center for the procedure to ‘get things tightened, literally, inside and out.’
When Vicki Gunvalson picked her up to drive her to the operation, she asked her ‘why’ she wanted it done, to which Kelly asked: ‘Why not?’
Tightening time: The procedure got a reaction from Kelly as Vicki looked on
Driving over: Kelly felt the tightening would be good for everybody
Kelly later explained to camera: ‘I’m looking forward to having my vaginal tightening procedure because I’m a little leaky down there and I’m not always, y’know, getting the nooky, so I’m hoping a little tightening of the puss makes everything better for everybody.’
Despite joking as they arrived that it was ‘time to get your vagina figured out,’ Vicki soon turned squeamish, trying to leave the room with Kelly asking: ‘You don’t want to see my goodies?’
‘I don’t want to see anything down there,’ Vicki said later in a confessional. ‘I don’t wanna see any pink parts, I don’t wanna smell anything — I don’t wanna know what’s going on in there.’
‘I think I might vomit,’ Vicki insisted back in the room, telling Kelly it was ‘the weirdest thing you’ve ever asked me to do’ and joking: ‘Next time I’m just going to lunch.’
When the medic went to put numbing lotion on her private parts Kelly joked ‘open wide!’ — and then when she saw the laser probe they were about to insert she said: ‘Wow that’s big!’
‘This is the most action I’ve had in a while,’ she laughed, adding: ‘I don’t even think Michael looks at me like that.’
Goofing around: The procedure included plenty of quips from Kelly
With her private parts blurred onscreen, she yelped as the laser probe was inserted – laughing as she told Vicki she was ‘just kidding’ and teasing her.
‘You go girl — you took the whole thing,’ an impressed Vicki finally laughed, with Kelly insisting: ‘I took one for the whole team!’
‘No wonder why she needs it tightened,’ Vicki later laughed to camera later in a confessional.
Good one: Vicki was impressed as Kelly underwent the procedure
Warned that it could ‘get a little smokey in here,’ Vicki then admitted she could smell ‘flesh burning,’ with the medic finally telling Kelly to ‘keep it nice and moist for three-to-five days.’
When she told her that ‘the only thing you can’t do the first few days is no sex, no tampons,’ Kelly quipped: ‘Oh that’s easy.’
New cast member Peggy Sulahian during the episode also revealed she recently underwent a preventative mastectomy,
New addition: Peggy Sulahian opened up about her preventative mastectomy
Big garage: Vicki was impressed with Peggy’s giant garage
Vicki and Kelly had both been the women that Peggy had opened up to about her own serious medical operation, with her telling them at a kid’s birthday party: ‘I’ve been going through some issues medically — I’ve been going through a mastectomy.’
She revealed that it was a preventative measure, explaining: ‘My mom died of breast cancer — we attacked it before it even started. So I’m going through this transition now that I’m not really used to and then I have to go to the doctor every week.’
She got emotional as she told them that she would return for more surgery soon.
Fast friends: Peggy was grateful when Vicki offered to help her
‘Anything you need you’ve got my number,’ Vicki told her. ‘Sincerely. I’ll be there in a minute, to help with the kids, whatever. Bless you — that’s tough stuff.’
Peggy later invited Vicki to her home, saying she was ‘so touched’ at her offer of help and telling the camera later: ‘I like Vicki because she’s very protective, I felt that. Like she will drop everything, and I believe it.’
The two women then further bonded over losing both their parents, hugging as they said: ‘We’re orphans!’
Common bond: Vicki and Peggy both bonded over the loss of their parents
Vicki had also failed to hide her wonder at Peggy’s husband Diko’s collection of sports cars, with him admitting to her: ‘There’s 10 more in my other building they just don’t fit here.’
Despite wanting to help her new friend and her fears of cancer, Vicki admitted that her history with ex-lover Brooks Ayers — who was roundly accused of faking cancer— made her wary at getting too involved.
‘After my situation with Brooks I kind of feel that health issues should be kept private — I mean, I’m here for her to have her talk about it, but I’m not going to be the one to start researching and asking for records. Hands off on this one,’ she said later.
Health issues: The OG of the O.C. discussed her reluctance to talk about health issues
Tamra Judge, meanwhile, had a dramatic development in her family life — admitting that she accidentally ran into her estranged daughter Sidney at son Ryan’s house.
‘To my surprise I walked in and was like, ”Oh wow”,’ she recalled later, telling her son Ryan: ‘I hugged — do you understand that’s the first time that I friggin’ hugged my daughter without being in court, or at a counselor’s office, in four years?
‘I mean I just looked at her and I’m like, ”I don’t even know you”,’ she added through tears.
Family dynamics: Tamra Judge and her son Ryan talked about their dysfunctional family
She admitted that she was worried about history repeating itself if her son Ryan split from his fiancee Sarah, possibly forcing his children to pick sides as Sidney had against her.
Tamra also admitted she had rejected her dad when her parents divorced.
‘We haven’t always had the best relationship — he left my mom for her best friend,’ she said later of dad Frank and his new wife Amelia.
Took sides: The reality star admitted siding with her mother when her parents divorced
‘When my mom and dad got divorced I took my mom’s side and I kind of shunned my father. I do feel that Sidney’s doing exactly the same thing to me.’
Ironically, Frank and Amelia arrived to support her at an event for the Erasing Children documentary she was involved in — with her proudly telling people they drove 10 hours to be there — while her mother failed to show without warning.
‘It bums me out that my Mom didn’t think … it hurts my feelings that my Mom didn’t think it was important enough to show up,’ she said through tears later.
Public talk: Tamra spoke at an event for the Erasing Children documentary
‘I’m p***ed off that Mom didn’t make the effort,’ she admitted. ‘Is it because my dad’s there and Amelia? Is it because it’s too painful?
‘My whole life my Mom’s been an avoider, she doesn’t talk about anything.’
‘Divorce does horrible things to families,’ she added.
Tender moment: The presentation ended with Tamra receiving a hug from her father
‘Every single day it hurts. And the only thing I can do to get through it is try to help other people so they don’t feel the same pain.’
At the event, she insisted: ‘I do believe that my daughter will be back one day.’
And she told the crowd: ‘Love your children more than you hate your ex.’
Good advice: Tamra urged the crowd to love their children more than they hate their ex
She also hoped that the event would carry a powerful message for Ryan and Sarah, there supporting her, saying later: ‘My dream is that Ryan and Sarah hear what separation does to a child. I’m really, really hoping that they will think twice about their relationship and work harder at making things work.’
Ryan had earlier had tears of his own when he admitted that his own troubles in his family life made him finally sympathize with his former stepdad, Tamra’s ex-husband Simon Barney, who he called an ‘asshole’ but finally appreciated he was tough on him for a reason.
He added to his mother that he was terrified if he got divorced his children would be stuck with a bad step-parent, telling her: ‘That’s my biggest fear, that I leave because I’m sick of the fighting and then who knows who pops in?’
Getting emotional: Ryan got emotional talking about his stepdad and his own relationship
Tamra, meanwhile, was blamed by Kelly as being ‘a puppet master’ controlling Shannon Beador and being the real key to Kelly and Shannon’s recent blow up.
‘I honestly believe that Shannon and I could be friends,’ Kelly told her husband Michael, insisting that ‘for whatever reason’ Tamra is deliberately making it impossible.
‘We have a new puppet master – Teflon Tamra.
Puppet master: Kelly earlier declared Tamra as the new puppet master in Orange County
‘I think she’s got Stockholm Syndrome with Tamra. Mentally she’s got her locked up.’
Tamra, meanwhile, teased Shannon at how she blew up at Kelly by offering her mood tablets that claim to ‘brighten your mood and create a sense of well-being.’
‘Yeah, so does a cocktail,’ Shannon quipped in reply.
Felt embarrassed: Shannon Beador admitted feeling embarrassed about her behavior at The Quiet Woman restaurant
Tamra then insisted that the second she saw Kelly walk into the restaurant the previous evening ‘it was like the devil looked at me and fire came out of her eyes.’
As Shannon chuckled, Tamra asked: ‘What was that? She was wasted.’
‘I can’t let someone like that get under my skin, and I really beat myself up the next day,’ Shannon admitted. ‘And I’m gonna be embarrassed for a while.’
Devil sighting: Tamra compared seeing Kelly at the restaurant to a devil sighting
Kelly ended another feud, however, visiting Meghan King Edmonds and meeting her baby girl Aspen for the first time after Meghan admitted they ‘drifted apart a little bit.’
‘I heard this rumor that Kelly was dating this guy, and I asked her if it was true,’ she explained.
‘She didn’t like that question. So she got mad and she sent me a text when I’m seven months pregnant saying, ”You’re husband is having an affair on you, just thought you should know”.’
Bad question: Meghan King Edmonds revealed that Kelly was upset with a question she asked her
‘I know it’s not true, but that’s not a text you send someone that’s seven months’ pregnant. I just let Kelly Dodd out for a few months.’
Kelly admitted later: ‘I have a really hard time controlling myself. When someone presses my buttons I’m going to press the button right back.’
‘The way that Kelly goes after people is not normal,’ Meghan insisted. ‘In a way I see Kelly as a child having a temper tantrum.
Low blow: Kelly made up with Meghan after sending a nasty text while Meghan was pregnant
‘Reasoning with a three-year-old is not easy and sometimes that’s how Kelly is.’
Lydia McLaughlin, meanwhile, threw an eighth birthday party for son Stirling at her mother Judy’s house — with Judy providing the main entertainment for the women.
She was shown handing the women fake fairy dust and then also getting them to wear tiaras, telling them: ‘I’m obsessed with crowns.’

Fairy dust: The party featured Lydia’s mother Judy sprinkling fairy dust
When they asked if her husband likes them too, she shocked the group by confessing: ‘We make love with crowns on.’
‘Lydia’s mom is a little eccentric,’ Vicki said later, correcting herself to admit: ‘The girl is crazy.’
RHOC will continue next week on Bravo.
Crazy talk: Vicki said that Lydia’s mom was eccentric and then corrected herself and said she was crazy
