Listen To Liam Gallagher's 'Oasis-y' New Single 'For What It's Worth'
“It’s a classic, man. It’s the most Oasis-y song on the album,” the singer explained in an interview unveiling the single with the U.K.’s Radio X. “It’s a top tune, man.”
The acoustic guitar-helmed new track follows up As You Were singles “Chinatown” and “Wall of Glass,” with the full album set to drop Oct. 6.
Gallagher also offered insight into the track in a recent interview with Noisey, where he called the lyrics an “apology.”
“Yeah, obviously I’ve made a lot of mistakes. That’s life,” the often outspoken singer-songwriter said. “I guess it is an apology to whoever. I’ve pissed a lot of people off. But I’m certainly not gonna write a song for each and every one of them. There’s one there. F—in’ deal with it and move on.”
